IS Clinical Fire and Ice
The popular ‘red carpet facial’ peel, recommended by celebrities like Halle Berry and Gwyneth Paltrow, consists of two steps with masks that actively work on the skin’s surface.
The first mask exfoliates and polishes the skin, increases microcirculation and metabolism, as well as opens and reduces large pores, with a feeling of slight warmth and tingling.
The second mask provides a pleasant, cooling sensation, moisturizes, hydrates and soothes the skin with anti-inflammatory ingredients.
After the peeling, Hydra-cool and Pro-Heal serum advanced are applied, which we also have in the clinic. The treatment is 90-95% plant-based.

FAQ
What is medical peeling?
A medical peel involves adding various acids to the skin, such as lactic acids, fruit acids, vitamin acids, etc. to exfoliate/peel off excess dead skin cells on the top layer of skin. This makes new, fresh skin more visible, which makes the skin look new, fresh and younger.
How do I know which peel is right for me?
It can be difficult to decide which peel to choose. After all, there are plenty of peels on the market. The important thing is to talk to the practitioner about what you want to work with and what your expectations are. Do you want little to no downtime from the treatment? Do you want to flake a lot? Is this your first time or have you performed peels before?
If you have a good home program with active ingredients and your skin is familiar with, for example, retinol, glycorbic acids, salicylic acids etc. you are more likely to be able to perform deeper peels, as your skin has built up a better tolerance to the strength of the ingredients.
We often recommend that you have a good home program with skin products that are suitable for your skin condition and skin type from before, as exfoliation will strengthen the effect of your home treatment.
What should I do before coming in for a peel in a clinic?
- If you have recently undergone other treatments such as laser, medical injections, filler treatments, etc.
- Avoid strong or active ingredients containing acids, such as vitamin A acids, glycolic acids, salicylic acids, facial scrubs at least 48 hours before treatment.
- Do not use self-tanning products where you need to exfoliate 48 hours before treatment.
- If you have open wounds, herpes outbreaks or active outbreaks in the skin barrier (sunburn, acne outbreaks), peeling should not be performed until the skin has healed.
- Facial hair should not grow 48 hours before treatment.
- Do not use the peel if you have been on a vacation with high sun exposure in the last two weeks, or are going on a vacation with high sun exposure two weeks after the peel (this also applies to tanning beds).
- Peeling is not performed on pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- For the strongest peels we offer, with downtime, you should consult with our therapists.
- One week before treatment, you should avoid hair removal in the area, waxing, exfoliation products, retinoids.

How many treatments do I need?
How many treatments you need depends on the results you want and what you want to work on. If you just want a glow or light exfoliation before an event, a gentle peel a couple of days beforehand is enough, as your skin will glow and your makeup will stay on so nicely!
If you have challenges such as enlarged pores, rough or uneven skin structure, acne scars, impurities, pigment spots or aging, you should take treatments until you achieve the desired effect, and this may vary. If you want to actively work on improving your skin, we recommend that you take skin treatments regularly, in addition to a good home program, as treatments in our clinic will strengthen the effect of your home program.
How long does the treatment last?
It depends on which peel, but we set aside between 20-40 minutes.
