Nose filler

Nasal filler with hyaluronic acid is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that can reshape the nose without the need for surgery. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps to moisturize and plump the skin. When used as a filler, it can add volume to areas that may be lacking, such as the bridge, wings or tip of the nose.

The procedure
The filler is injected into the targeted areas of the nose with either a pointed needle or cannula to achieve the desired result. The procedure is quick, taking only around 15-30 minutes to complete, and results can be seen immediately. Duration of result approximately 12 months.
One of the main benefits of hyaluronic acid nasal filler is that it is temporary. Unlike surgical nose correction procedures that provide a permanent result, the filler will eventually dissolve and the nose will return to its original shape. This can be a safer option for those who may be hesitant to undergo surgery or are unsure of the final results.
Complications
However, it is important to remember that nasal filler with hyaluronic acid is a procedure that should only be performed by an authorized healthcare professional with experience and knowledge of nasal anatomy and potential complications. Such a procedure, like other filler treatments, is not risk-free and the practitioner must be experienced in how to inject to minimize the risk of complications.
Complications can include bruising, swelling and infection if not performed correctly. If large amounts of filler are used or the procedure is performed on patients who have previously undergone surgical rhinoplasty, there is a greater risk of complications from the procedure and this should always be disclosed to the nurse/doctor before the consultation/procedure. The most feared complication after nasal filler is blindness, which is caused by the filler being injected into a vein in the nose, which in turn blocks the blood supply to the eye.
Fortunately, this is very rare. In order for the tissue to remain healthy and natural, we depend on a good blood supply to the body's organs. With filler injections, there is a risk of blocking the blood supply to the nose and thus causing cell death, ischemia/necrosis, which in turn will lead to large wounds on the nose. In such a situation, the filler must be dissolved to ensure that the blood supply to the nose is normalized.
